The Inaugural events were extra special this time around, not only was Barack re-elected, but we really had an opportunity to see the love shared in the Obama family. Starting with the President and First Lady, I actually saw him kiss her more times during the day's events than he did four years ago. They were able to be themselves and appeared to really enjoy being together. They smiled a lot more, they engaged with each other and with the girls and weren't worried about others seeing their interactions.
However, this dance says it all. He sang along with Jennifer Hudson as she sang "Let's Stay Together." It was such a romantic moment. He san, she smiled and laughed and once again they kissed a couple of time. Even though the world was watching, they were in thier own little world. Obama's, I'm not mad at you. Continue to show your love and affection for one another, no matter who is watching.
When was the last time that you danced with your spouse? A few years ago, to celebrate a milestone birthday, I convinced my husband to learn the tango and dance with me infront of 100 guests. I must admit learning to dance the tango was outrageously fun and romantic. Even though he was recovering from a broken toe, he pulled it off because I asked him to. That's what love does. We enjoyed dancing together so much that during our recent cruise, we learned the Salsa, Cha-Cha and the Meringue. We were the hottest and best dancing couple on the entire boat. Anyway, I said all that to say, let's take a tip from the First Family and show some LOVE.
